This feature is flexible too, so you can set the frequency to whatever is convenient for you – “As They Happen” or daily or weekly.
Once your Alerts are set up, you will get email notices when Google’s search engine finds a matching result in a new internet posting.

It’s a Snap to Set Up Google Alerts
If you have a Google account, the next step is to visit Google’s Create an Alert page and follow the instructions. Choose keywords (Alert topics) and then customize your selection under Options.
Once activated, a Google Alert will continue to send you fresh internet content specific to your topic requests.
One note – Google Alerts need not be business-only. If you want to set up a Google Alert for news about your pick in the World Series, knitting or Quentin Tarantino, feel free – Google will never tell!
